The Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt is temporarily moving to Frankfurt’s Bockenheim district, into the eye-catching industrial building of the former Dondorf printing factory. It is celebrating the opening of its new venue with a large parade through the city center and the participatory dance performance “In C – Community” by the internationally renowned dance company Sasha Waltz & Guests and the techno marching band MEUTE. The reason for the renowned art institution’s move is the energy-efficient renovation of the Schirn’s main building on Römerberg.
