The SCHIRN invites you to the festive opening of its new temporary location in the former Dondorf printing house. The celebration kicks off with a grand parade through the city – accompanied by the dance company Sasha Waltz & Guests and a techno marching band.
Around 100 dancers – both professionals and amateurs – will present the participatory piece “In C – Community”: an open choreography full of energy, improvisation, and a spirit of togetherness. Frankfurt dance groups, spectators, and passersby are invited to join the performance and dance along. The parade’s destination is the new interim venue in Frankfurt-Bockenheim – where the audience can look forward to performances throughout the building, music, food & drinks, and many surprises.
