On the final days of the major summer exhibition “The World Through AI,” the SCHIRN presents the special project “Vocal Revolutions” by artist and composer Tim Otto Roth, with extended opening hours.
For over two and a half decades, Tim Otto Roth has been engaged with the intersection of imagination and techno-aesthetics. The conceptual artist and composer has realized site-specific commissioned works from Hanoi to New York, collaborating with leading exhibition venues such as the American Museum of Natural History in New York, the Musée des Arts et Métiers in Paris, and the Ludwig Forum für Internationale Kunst in Aachen, as well as with outstanding research institutions such as the Hubble Space Telescope Institute, the IceCube Neutrino Observatory, and various institutes of the Max Planck Society. The recurring point of departure for his artistic work is the question of how technical media influence aesthetic perception.
