The days are growing shorter, the wind whistles around the buildings, and food is becoming scarce for animals: in the second episode of IN A SILENT WAY, the sculpture garden on the outdoor grounds expands to include works by Denise Mawila, Paul Spengemann and Ian Waelder. The works respond to the changed conditions of the dark, barren season. As soon as the sun sets, a creature begins its mischief on the north façade. In several places, noses studded with birdseed slowly erode over time. An installation made of tinsel evokes the transience of the moment. From late October, the artists will take over various sites across the outdoor grounds with a laser projection visible only in the dark, ephemeral façade sculptures, and an installation marked by the weather.
