The SCHIRN is marking its temporary move from the Römer to Frankfurt’s Bockenheim district with a festive parade and a large-scale performance by some 100 dancers to live music. The participatory project “In C – Community” by the celebrated international dance company Sasha Waltz & Guests ogether with the techno marching band MEUTE is being created through a collaboration among professional dancers and amateur groups.

  • 3 PM – Parade starts: In C – Community
    In front of the SCHIRN building

  • 4:00 PM – Arrival at the new location at Bockenheimer Warte

  • 4:30 PM – Official opening with speeches by
    Mayor Mike Josef, Cultural Director Ina Hartwig, SCHIRN Director Sebastian Baden & Curator Martina Weinhart

  • 5:30 PM – Dance performance In C – Community

  • 6:30 PM – DJ set by DJ Abiba, food & drinks
