Offline Club: Writing Workshop with Saskia Hennig von Lange
In the writing workshop “Wortwechsel” (Word Exchange) we let ourselves be inspired by the works of Thomas Bayrle – by their rhythms, patterns, and movements. We observe how repetitions transform into language and how lines, shapes, and figures give rise to our own texts. Through writing together, we trace the art in words, rediscover everyday structures, and find a personal language somewhere between precision and play.

The SCHIRN presents a major solo exhibition of Frankfurt-based artist Thomas Bayrle. At the heart of the show are works from the past 15 years, complemented by pieces from the 1960s and 1970s that laid the innovative foundation for his characteristic “super forms.”
Saskia Hennig von Lange lives in Frankfurt am Main with her three children. She is the author of numerous award-winning novels exploring the relationship between human beings and the world and has been leading creative writing workshops for children, teenagers, and adults in museums and cultural institutions for many years.
Everyone who wants to experiment with language is welcome. No prior knowledge is required. “Wortwechsel” thrives on exchange: between STUDIO and exhibition, spaces open up for perception, movement, and creative writing. Writing materials, art supplies, and seating are provided.
