In this lecture, art historian Dr. Susanne Kaufmann-Valet examines how works by Marcel and Suzanne Duchamp have been exhibited throughout the 20th and 21st centuries, and what these exhibition practices reveal about their work. Following the lecture, exhibition curators Dr. Talia Kwartler and Dr. Ingrid Pfeiffer will join Dr. Susanne Kaufmann-Valet in a discussion on curatorial perspectives on the Duchamps—then and now.
