Guided Tour With Detailed Descriptions of the Works
The inclusive tour creates new access points through multiple senses. Participants listen, touch, and describe the artworks in the exhibition together. Anna Hulačová draws her art from a deep connection to plants and animals. For her large-format sculptures, she works with concrete, linden wood, honeycomb, and metal. Influences from Surrealism, socialist Brutalism, and Czech folk art merge into a distinctive cosmos.
Through detailed descriptions of the works, tactile models, and material samples, the tour group engages in conversation.

The SCHIRN presents the first solo exhibition in Germany by artist Anna Hulačová. Her sculptures combine Surrealism, socialist Brutalism, and Czech folk art into a distinctive cosmos, in which she explores the relationship between humans and nature from an ecofeminist perspective. In doing so, bees and concrete become symbols of a utopian-apocalyptic vision.
