Guided Tour in Simple Language
In this introduction, we talk about the Leonor Fini exhibition in Easy Language.
Leonor Fini thought a lot about her role as a woman and an artist.
How does she show herself in her pictures?
It is about love and secret powers.
Her pictures are also about death and change.
And figures who change roles and transform themselves.
Together we discover paintings, drawings, photos, and other artworks.
During this tour, we take our time.
Everyone can ask questions.
That means we explain the artworks in the exhibition with simple words.
Simple Language can help many people.
For example, people learning German.

In fall 2026, the SCHIRN presents the first major exhibition on Leonor Fini in Germany. Around 100 works — including paintings, drawings, photographs, and objects — offer a comprehensive insight into the artist’s fascinating œuvre. Influenced by the Renaissance, Symbolism, German Romanticism, and magical Surrealism, Fini developed a distinctive visual language situated between dream, myth, and fantasy.
