Tim Otto Roth will discuss his work Vocal Revolutions, machine learning of voices and sounds, text- and image-oriented AI approaches, and the history of talking machines. The conversation will also provide insight into how Roth has incorporated Pope Leo XIV’s AI encyclical Magnifica humanitas into his work, both compositionally and conceptually.
