The SCHIRN presents the first major solo exhibition in Germany by the artist duo Bárbara Wagner & Benjamin de Burca. At the center of the exhibition is a newly developed production created specifically for this occasion. This video installation focuses on the current hardcore scene and, in particular, on Straight Edge (or “sXe”) in Germany – a movement that began on the U.S. East Coast as a “clean” counterculture within the post-hardcore punk scene of the 1980s.
