EXTENDED SPECIAL GUIDED TOUR
From 10th grade in JOHN AKOMFRAH. A SPACE OF EMPATHY
The students receive an introduction to the exhibition and then work in small groups on the content and form of the artist's video installations using a questionnaire. A joint debriefing with discussion rounds off the educational program.
GUIDED TOUR AND PRACTICE
Guided tour through the exhibition followed by a workshop. Artistic strategies are uncovered, deciphered and become a means of expression for one's personal point of view in one's own aesthetic-practical examination.
LIGHT-FLOODED: SAILBOATS, CITYSCAPES, RACING BIKES
From 6th grade in LYONEL FEININGER
Horizontal, vertical and diagonal layering and overlapping of colored pieces of transparent paper on white paper enable elegant and lightweight image compositions, reminiscent of Feininger's typical painting style with constructions of prismatic transparent surfaces.
ARTFUL APPARITIONS: GHOSTIES OR GELMERODA
From 8th grade in LYONEL FEININGER
Many of Lyonel Feininger's works are fine line constructions that sometimes stand out more, sometimes less, from the background. This applies to some of his prints, watercolors and drawings of cityscapes, or the Ghosties (small ghostly figures). Mood-evoking sheets will be created through a special technique of printing and frottage.
