Vladimir Dunji\u0107 depicts them as the majestic companions of a female figure \u2013 somewhere between fairy tale, dream, and reality. The scene evokes ancient goddesses and surreal imagery. More than 3,000 years after the cat in Nebamun\u2019s tomb, one thing here remains unchanged: Cats cannot be tamed \u2013 nor can they be interpreted with any certainty.
