Edna Bonhomme earned a Ph.D. in the history of science from Princeton University, a Master of Public Health from Columbia University, and a bachelor's degree in biology from Reed College. Edna's doctoral dissertation, &ldquo;Plague Bodies and Spaces,&rdquo; examined trade, plague, and imperialism in North African port cities. Edna's master's thesis explored sexuality, sex work and HIV\/AIDS in the Caribbean. Edna works with sound, text and archives and explores contagion, epidemics and toxicity by asking: What makes people sick?
