I HAVE MORE QUESTIONS
If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us at marketing@SCHIRN.de. We thank you for your understanding that due to the large number of requests, there may be delays in responding to your inquiries at this time.
Some of the artworks in the exhibition KARA WALKER include very explicit pictures and language that might have a disturbing effect on visitors. The artist deals, for instance, with the enslaving and colonization of Black people, and also addresses practices of oppression like racism and sexism as well as other forms of violence. We recommend that children under the age of fifteen only visit the exhibition in the company of their parents and/or another adult.
HOW SAFE AM I IN THE SCHIRN?
In order to ensure a safe visit to the exhibition, the number of visitors will be greatly reduced until further notice. Please maintain the required distance of at least 1.5 meters from other visitors as well as from SCHIRN staff. The minimum distance is guaranteed by a guidance system. An automatic counting system also regulates the number of visitors in the exhibitions so that you are safe at all times. Disinfection facilities are also available for your convenience. Protection is enhanced by the wearing of medical masks in the SCHIRN. If you do not have a mask with you, you can purchase a disposable mask at the SCHIRN box office at a reasonable price.
WHAT KIND OF MASK DO I HAVE TO WEAR?
You will be asked to wear a medical mask to increase the protection of everyone in the SCHIRN. If you do not have a mask with you, you can purchase a disposable mask at the SCHIRN box office at a reasonable price. Even vaccinated people must wear a mask. This rule also applies to children over the age of 6.
DO I HAVE TO LEAVE MY CONTACT DETAILS?
No, currently no contact tracking is necessary for your visit. Your personal data will not be collected.
Do I need a negative Coronatest?
Yes, currently you need a Rapid Test or PCR Test performed by a public health service to visit the SCHIRN. You can take the so-called citizen test at numerous locations and receive proof of it in just a few minutes. If you already have full vaccination protection or have recovered, you do not need a test. This rule also applies to children over the age of 6.
