# One Concrete and Honey on the Rocks, please

Concrete (Czech: beton) isn’t just a building material or a feature of Anna Hulačovás exhibition – in the Czech Republic, you can even find it in your glass! *Beton* is a popular Czech cocktail made with Becherovka and tonic water. We’ve got the recipe for you, plus a non-alcoholic alternative.

Not all concrete is created equal. Inspired by “[Anna Hulačová. Abundantia](https://www.schirn.de/en/exhibition/anna-hulacova/),” we’re taking a little detour from the material we usually associate with art and architecture and diving into Czech drinking culture instead. Meet Beton, the Czech national cocktail, first introduced at Expo 67 in Canada.

And since the Czech Republic is also known as a land of bees, we’ve discovered an alcohol-free alternative to go alongside the classic. With its wonderfully aromatic honey flavour, it relies on bees just as much as Anna Hulačová’s art does.

So, Gin & Tonic is yesterday’s news. We’re raising our glasses to concrete, bees, and a little taste of Czech drinking culture! Cheers! Na zdraví!
