WINTER VACATION PROGRAM

TUESDAY + WEDNESDAY (JAN 2-3) AND THURSDAY + FRIDAY (JANUARY 4-5), 2-4.30 PM
FOR CHILDREN FROM 6 TO 9 YEARS

During the Hessian school vacations, the works in the current exhibition LYONEL FEININGER. RETROSPECTIVE are closely examined and used as inspiration for own works of art. Together with an artist educator, children between the ages of 6 and 9 discover the exhibition.

LIGHT, SHADOW AND COLOR GAMES

House backdrops made of cardboard and window pictures made of transparent paper - these are examples of the practical offers in the vacation program for the exhibition. The painter Lyonel Feininger lived in Weimar and New York, among other places, and these very different cities inspired him to draw and paint his pictures.
