August 1, FROM 7 PM

Jaraya has been part of the Frankfurt DJ collective GG VYBE since 2018. In her cross-genre DJ sets, she mixes electronic sounds from breakbeats, Jersey club, house and Baltimore club. Jaraya incorporates her individual history of the Moroccan diaspora: characteristic rhythms from the Arabic soundscape and traditional instruments such as the oud or darbuka define her sound. Omar Zyami is a versatile DJ from Rabat, Morocco, who plays eclectic music sets with a focus on electronic music and beats from the SWANA region. He collects and mixes with cassettes filled with Raï and Chaâbi. Omar is also the founder of the Haram party in Hildesheim, which aims to create diversity in the local music and art scene, decolonize the dance floor and promote the Maghrebi party scene locally.
