On the last Saturday of the large public exhibition CHAGALL, the SCHIRN invites you to the SATURDAY BEFORE CLOSING. Visitors can expect a great program around CHAGALL with live music, drinks and art starting at 8 pm.

ELECTRONICA-DUO WITH VISUAL ARTIST

The duo Matthias Vogt and Johanna Klein ranges musically between ambient and electronica. Partly free improvised, partly with track and song structure. The ethereal sounds mixed with club sound are atmospherically supported by visual artist Sebastian Rieker. In the SCHIRN Foyer

KANTOR AMNON SEELIG

Cantor of the Jewish Community of Mannheim

Cantor Amnon Seelig was born in Munich, Germany, and completed his vocal and music theory studies at the Jerusalem Academy of Music, each with a Bachelor's degree. He completed his vocal studies with Prof. Donald Litaker at the Karlsruhe University of Music with a master's degree. In 2010, Seelig began the master's program in Jewish Studies at the University of Potsdam and was ordained as a synagogue cantor by the Abraham Geiger College in 2015. He officiated as cantor in Berlin, Munich, Augsburg, Warsaw, Brussels, and Düsseldorf. Since 2017, he has been cantor of the Jewish Community of Mannheim. Amnon Seelig will play music in the premises of the exhibition
