FEMINISM ACROSS GENERATIONS

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 8 PM

At the first event, El Ouassil talks with journalist Susan Djahangard about how feminism has changed, adapted, and evolved over the decades. Each generation of women has found its own way to fight against oppression, inequality, and discrimination. But what does the connection between feminist movements of different generations look like? Which struggles and achievements remain relevant today, and what new challenges have emerged?

BODY RECLAIMED

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 6, 8 PM

What social norms shape our understanding of beauty, and how can we question and renegotiate them? In a time when the female body is often treated as an object of control and expectation, moderator Samira El Ouassil and her guests will address this issue in the second session of FEEDBACK FEMINISM. They explore how the body can be liberated from external control and examine the aesthetic, political, and cultural dimensions of beauty.

POWER AND PLEASURE

FRIDAY, JANUARY 24, 2025, 8 PM

In the final session of the talk series FEEDBACK FEMINISM, moderator Samira El Ouassil explores the topics of desire, power, and self-determination, asking the question: How are feminism and pornography related? These are two concepts often seen in conflict, but they can also reveal unexpected synergies. How does feminism fit into the world of pornography, and what role do women play in this industry?
