[ Contact us ](mailto:fuehrungen@schirn.de) **Duration** 120 minutes **Notes** Registration and booking via In her film works, Stephanie Comilang explores various aspects of life at sea: deprivation and loneliness shape the daily lives of cargo ship workers, while resources and home are found there by the Sama-Bajau, a nomadic people in Southeast Asia. Inspired by Comilang’s maritime footage, students create their own images of the sea in this workshop, using denim—a material rich in symbolism for the artist.
