The inclusive tour creates new ways of experiencing art through multiple senses. Participants listen, touch, and describe together the artworks and large-scale film installations by Canadian-Filipino artist [Stephanie Comilang](https://www.schirn.de/en/exhibition/stephanie-comilang/). The artist explores themes such as humans and nature, home, labor migration, and diaspora. Through dialogue, participants engage with her work: How is the search for (one’s own) identity represented? What does belonging mean? What role do historical facts and fictional elements play?

Through detailed descriptions of the artworks and material samples, the tour group enters into discussion.

The impressive film installations by Stephanie Comilang (1980, Toronto, Canada) compellingly shift between documentary and poetic narrative. Her two most recent films, "Search for Life. Diptych" (2024/25) and "Diaspora Ad Astra" (2020), are being shown in Germany for the first time.
