DOUBLE FEATURE

For over 10 years, the Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt has served as a forum for international filmmakers and video artists. Under the heading DOUBLE FEATURE, they present a work from their own oeuvre, followed by a favorite film. On the last Wednesday of every month and in conversation with curators, the invited artists provide extensive insight into their creative work, especially into their interest in film. Film and video works by 130 artists have already been shown in the Schirn. In the interview, the filmmakers discuss their works as well as current trends in film and video art.

"Double Feature" sees itself as a platform for different tendencies and forms of expression in artistic film and video production.
